Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-13
This policy covers Virgil's Infinity Tome (the web app at
virgilsinfinitytome.com) and the Virgil's Tome Clipper browser
extension. They are personal tools for organizing your own writing and projects.
What we collect
- Account info: when you sign in (Google or email), we receive your
email address and a user id, used only to authenticate you and associate your data
with your account.
- Your content: the documents, images, and other nodes you create —
and, when you use the Clipper, the specific text, Google Doc, or image you choose to
clip. This is stored in your own private account.
How it's stored
Content syncs to a database and file storage hosted on
Supabase. Access is restricted by row-level security
so that only your account can read or write your data. Locally, data is
also cached in your browser. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third-party
tracking or analytics.
Extension permissions
- Host access — so the Clip button can read the page content
you explicitly choose to clip (selected text, a Google Doc you open, or an
image you click). Pages are never read or transmitted unless you click Clip.
- Identity / Storage — to sign you in and keep your session.
Deleting your data
You can delete any clipped or created content inside the app. To delete your account and
all associated data, contact us and we will remove it.
